A poem reflecting on the spiritual and enlightening aspects of The Qur’an

The Light (The Qur’an) The Kitab
Let there be; in the beginning there was none,
How could we find false, what was truth?
If what’s all around us is the sign of the Sun,
Knowledge was never known from the proof.
The first gift given to those whom He created-
Light is, to be seen, to see our way back,
From the hell that has come down out of hatred.
Blessed with His cure, but the vision we lacked…
Why so many false preachers and prophets?
What did we see in kings, judges or even man?
Where’s the power of the idols, crosses, lockets?
Who made it obscured, polluted and damned?
The End is the outcome of ignorant darkness,
In a world that is veiled from their prophecy.
But The Light still shines from His Oneness,
To those who believe in what they can not see.
Bright and brighter still in the Sealed Nectar,
Shinning out of a blackness that is white.
Penetrating through barriers here and farther,
It is, The Light is, The Kitab is, The Light.

A reflective piece comparing the Quran to other religious texts and emphasizing its divine preservation.
How remarkable it is to learn about a book from God, the Quran, which has been meticulously preserved for over 1,400 years. This divine scripture has been memorized by millions of people worldwide in various languages. God Himself has promised to protect the Quran from corruption until the day of judgment. The preservation of the Quran has been meticulous, ensuring that every letter and word remains unchanged since its revelation. Notable historical events, like the compilation of the Quran during the caliphate of Uthman ibn Affan, and individuals such as Hafsa bint Umar, who safeguarded the original manuscripts, have played pivotal roles in maintaining its integrity. It is astounding that more than 10 million individuals, known as Hafiz, have memorized the entire Quran, highlighting its miraculous consistency and divine safeguarding. While criticisms and misconceptions exist regarding the Quran’s preservation, the undeniable truth is that its textual integrity has endured the test of time. Despite challenges and doubts raised by some, the Quran’s preservation and coherence have remained steadfast, supported by historical evidence and the enduring dedication of those who have memorized and preserved it for centuries.
